Hardware is the basis of our project! Through an interplay of electronics, mechanics, and computer science. We solve difficult problems in an interdisciplinary team, such as the safe transfer of medication to the patient or the opening of doors by a robot. The hardware components required for this are partly designed, constructed, and further developed by us or in cooperation with external partners such as the Fraunhofer.

Responsibilities

CAD design of robot components
Integration of sensor technology into the design
Fast prototyping with our 3D printer
Development of a door opening mechanism
Preparation of components for series production

Requirements

Completed master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar field
Confident handling of Fusion 360 or Solidworks
Expertise at the design calculations of copmponents
Experience with kinematic systems
Bonus: Experience with manipulators
